    Adam Hindmarsh

    — Director

    With 17 years experience in branding, identity, corporate literature and online communications, Adam has worked for some of the UK’s leading design agencies including the late great Colin Banks and John Miles of the legendary Banks and Miles. He also worked for Tor Pettersen & Partners where he honed his corporate communications skills.

    Adam has created strategic opportunities and identity programmes for clients such as Thorn EMI, Paddington Basin and the regeneration of Silvertown Quays in the Royal Victoria Docks area of East London.

  • Sanjay Patel

    Sanjay Patel

    — Director

    Sanjay worked for the former branding powerhouse Sampson Tyrrell (now The Brand Union) which is part of the global communication services group WPP. He also worked for retail branding specialist Giant, corporate communications leader
    Tor Pettersen & Partners and IPO specialist Dewe Rogerson (now Citigate Dewe Rogerson).

    Notably, Sanjay has worked on Cable & Wireless, Standard Chartered Bank, First Choice and Shell branding programmes.

    Sanjay’s involvement with the education sector dates back to 2004. He has 23 years experience.

    Kiera Lang-McDougall

    — Account Director

    Kiera is a Modern Languages specialist, gaining a distinction (BA) in French and Italian from The University of Exeter.

    With 11 years of experience in the design industry, Kiera brings a holistic understanding to client-driven communications, including annual reports, online communications, marcoms, branding and education. She has helped grow and position clients such as Oxford BioMedica, Majestic Wine, Roedean, BSkyB and First Choice Holidays.

    Kiera takes overall responsibility for the delivery of projects to brief, budget and schedule.

  • Nick Carr

    Nick Carr

    — Creative Director

    Nick’s enduring affair with graphics began when he started art school in 1963. Graduating in 1968, a varied career finally led to the foundation of ckd in 1990.

    An eye for detail helped him spot the arrival of computers, and he embraced the opportunities they offered to enhance good old-fashioned creativity through modern technology.

  • Kerrie Braham

    Kerrie Braham

    — Creative

    Kerrie graduated in Graphic Design from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth in 2009, where innovation, contextual and design issues were central to the course.

    After a successful placement with ckd in the Spring of 2010, Kerrie joined as a creative, where she is being encouraged to develop informed design strategies through her own unique and individual approach to visual problem solving.

    Nat Hobson

    — Creative

    Nat graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from the Arts University College at Bournemouth
    in 2011. His work represents a balance of screen and print
    based design with an additional interest and proficiency in web design and coding, specialising in Wordpress based websites.

    After a successful placement with
    ckd in Summer 2011 he joins as a creative, where he will be encouraged to further develop his innovative approach to problem solving.

    Mark started his marketing career with the Financial Times in London and has 16 years of experience in education marketing and fundraising. His marketing acumen has led to doubling the student numbers and quadrupling the gift income for a leading higher education college,
    and his skills have also seen pupil numbers and interest achieve
    record levels for a boarding school
    in Oxfordshire.

    He provides strategic marketing research, strategy, public relations, consultancy and recruitment to some of the world’s leading independent schools and groups.

  • Suzanne Warner

    Suzanne Warner

    — Marketing Consultant

    Suzanne was one of the very few Marketing Managers in independent schools in 1999 and since then she has represented a range of prep and senior schools across the country.

    Suzanne is a former commercial and BBC broadcast journalist having worked at radio stations across the South as a newsreader, reporter, producer and news editor. She also has a First Class Honours degree in Journalism & Sociology from City University, London.

    She is currently the Marketing Manager for three independent prep schools and also represents a number of other independent schools as freelance clients.

    Suzanne is a regular contributor to The Independent Schools Magazine as a marketing expert. She is also a Governor of a state primary school.

    Luci originally trained and worked as a journalist, then moved across into PR and digital marketing ten years ago. A seasoned copywriter, she can turn her hand to anything; corporate brochure copy, digital content, press releases; marketing materials.

    Luci has worked both in-house and agency side on many big-name brands. Her digital marketing experience includes several years at a solely online PR and marketing agency, back at the start of the dotcom boom. Since then, there’s always been a strong element of online / digital in the work she has undertaken, including social media strategy, creating concepts for marketing websites and content creation for websites and blogs.

    The brands she has worked most closely with over the years include, BT, Orange, NIVEA, Olay, Santander, Egg, Disney, Bauer Media, Challenge TV and Teletext.

    With close to 26 years experience in sales & marketing, relationship management and business development across a number of industries ranging from Banking, Insurance, Media and Recruitment, Nilam is a seasoned professional.

    Nilam has worked with leading brands including Barclays Bank, Marsh (MMC), Zee TV and Ma Foi (now part of Randstad) across UK, Europe and India.

    Nilam works closely with Toybank UK (a charity for underprivileged children) and is a member of the
    Ma Foi Foundation in Chennai.
